Feed Items
If your org uses Feed Items (Chatter / Activity Feed), Email Scrubber can replace each existing Email Feed Item with a new one that links to the archived record.
Upgrading from an earlier version? You'll need to manually add any new fields to the CMDT page layout. They don't appear automatically.
Before you start: grant the audit fields permission
The Email Scrubber batch job running user needs the Set Audit Fields upon Record Creation permission. It lets Email Scrubber:

keep each Feed Item's original created date, so your Activity History timeline stays accurate

set the correct user on each Feed Item
If this permission is missing, new Feed Items will show the batch run date and the batch user instead of the original values.
Turn on Feed Items

Select Create Feed Items.

(Optional) If you use Redundant Email detection and want Feed Items for emails flagged as redundant created as well, select Create FeedItems for Redundant Emails.
Configure Feed Items Settings
Feed Item Archive Body API Field Name
The API name of the formula field on Email Message that builds the Feed Item body. Email Scrubber includes a default formula. To change the body, create your own formula field and enter its API name here.
Feed Item Title
The title shown on each Feed Item
Feed Item User Id
The ID of the user each Feed Item is attributed to.
Leveraging Email Scrubber for objects other than Case? The case activity feed is a chronological, unified logic of all actions, updates, and events related to a specific case. This is unique to the Case objects. When using Feed Items in other object (for example, Opportunity), feed items will appear under the Chatter tab.
