Introducing Email Scrubber 7.25

Oct 22
2 min read

Version 7.25 is now live... and it puts some final touches on Email Scrubber which allows it to archive emails related to additional objects. You can now point it at the "what" objects you choose, such as Account, Opportunity, and Lead.

This release also expands archiving configurations. Create and run individual configurations are needed.

Let's get into it.

Archive Emails Related to Opportunity

Email Scrubber now handles archiving emails related to other objects such as Opportunity. Simple create a new Declutter CMDT with the targeted detection where condition.

For example, the following where condition identifies all emails related to closed opportunities.

Create as many configurations as you need

You can now create multiple Custom Metadata Type (CMDT) records, each defining its own archiving rule. Keep one for Accounts, another for Opportunities, and a third for Cases, each with its own criteria.

Separate configurations keep every rule clear and easy to change. Adjust one without touching the others.

Run once or on a schedule

Right from the app, you decide how each configuration runs:

  • One time — run a configuration immediately for a one-off cleanup.

  • Scheduled job — set it to run on a recurring schedule so archiving keeps happening without anyone remembering to start it.

Use a one-time run to clear a backlog, then schedule the same configuration to keep things tidy from then on.

See every scheduled job at a glance

The welcome page now lists all of your scheduled jobs. Open the app and you can see right away what's set to run, with no digging through setup screens.

It's the quickest way to confirm your archiving is on track as you add more configurations.

Get started

Version 7.25 is now generally available now. We'd love to hear how you're using these new features.
